What it is

Promptic (https://promptic.eu/) is an optimization platform for GenAI applications: you bring use-case data and the quality/cost KPIs you care about, then benchmark models, tune prompts and agents, and score candidates so you ship the configuration that wins on your metrics — not the one that sounded right in a chat. The site highlights OpenTelemetry-native LLM tracing, one-click prompt optimization loops, dashboard/CI/coding-agent entry points, and an evaluate-then-ship workflow across layers of a GenAI stack. We verified the marketing site HTTP 200 on 2026-09-26.

Who it is for

Teams shipping LLM or agent features who already feel the pain of “prompt v37 in a Notion doc” and want systematic quality-vs-cost search against their own data. Distinct from Hyperprobe / Loupekit style Dev tooling and from Harden (security): Promptic is GenAI eval + optimization infrastructure. Less useful if you only call a single model with a fixed prompt and no eval set. On this board it sits in Infra next to Latency Atlas / HookDeploy / SereneDB / Crbonfree / Notify.domains as runtime quality-cost control for AI apps.

Why we listed it

Fresh public launch: Product Hunt featured Promptic on 2026-09-25 (~#11 / ~89 upvotes on hunted.space; ~1d). Infra is thinner than Marketing/Design/Dev, and no listing covers business-metric-driven GenAI prompt/agent optimization with an explicit candidate scoring loop. Honest caveat: we have not reproduced a full optimization run on our own dataset or audited vendor data-retention defaults.

Caveats

Optimization quality depends on the eval set and KPIs you define — garbage metrics still crowned a “winner.” We have not compared results against hand-tuned prompts on a public benchmark suite. Check pricing, data residency, and OTel export details on promptic.eu before wiring production traces. Not a general observability suite for non-LLM services.
